    Bred and initially raced in South Africa, David sourced Nocturnal Affair in Dubai in 2011 and he quickly repaid David’s faith in him, winning the prestigious Portland Handicap at Doncaster, a Listed race at Dundalk and a valuable handicap at the Dubai Carnival at Meydan in the first few months of his time with David.

    Bought by David for £31,000 as a breeze-up sale at Doncaster, Seanie quickly repaid that investment by recording a spectacular success in the valuable Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sale Stakes at Fairyhouse as a two-year-old.

    Sent to David as a four-year-old maiden rated just 65 in 2009, he didn’t take long to improve for Marnane’s handling, winning at the Killarney July Festival that July.
